Power Yoga is based around the ancient technique known as Ashtanga Vinyasa. This system uses breath control and constant movement to first generate heat. With this heat, the body can then safely improve flexibility. 'You warm up to stretch'. This yoga has been used with dramatic results on athletes and sports persons. It uses body weight to build strength coupled with muscle control, as well as improving balance and flexibility. It is for men and women with a good level of fitness and is suitable for both beginners and intermediates.
